Services
Your network is your IT infrastructure: the backbone and sum total of your company's hardware and software data communication systems. Your network may include:
- A Local Area Network (LAN), typically in a single location
- A Wide Area Network (WAN) that joins remote LANs in multiple locations
- The various computer equipment tied to the network (such as servers, PC, printers, etc)
Depending on your organization's size, current IT staff, budget, and specific needs, rubyworx can provide the following network integration and maintenance services as your outsourced network administrator.
Assessment & Evaluation
We will assess your current WAN links (frame relay, T-1, DSL, etc), TCP/IP routing, router setup and configuration, hubs, switches, cabling, security firewall configuration, and network operating systems.
Design
We will work with you to develop a customized strategic plan that details your current and future IT needs. If you are a start-up and do not yet have a network, or if you have one that needs updating, we will recommend a plan for the types of hardware and software you need, provide a budget, and document how the components will work together.
Installation
We will install system hardware and software (including servers, clients, routers, hubs, switches, and firewalls) as well as the software required to support it (operating systems, mail servers, anti-virus, etc). We can also manage the installation of cabling, and telecommunications services (
i.e. DSL, T1, cable, or leased lines), and ensure that your network is working exactly as planned. We will proactively review your overall network on a quarterly basis and recommend any needed modifications in equipment, software, procedures, etc.
OpManager
OpManager is a network monitoring software that can automatically discover your network, group your devices into intuitive maps, monitor devices in real-time and alert instantaneously on failure. It serves as a complete network monitoring solution by providing complete fault and performance functionality across your WAN and LAN infrastructure.
